Haberdashers’ Adams is a co-ed state grammar school with boarding for boys. Over 1,000 pupils attend the school including 365 pupils in our thriving Sixth Form. There are 75 places available to new pupils wishing to join to study A-levels.

Our principal aim is to ensure pupils achieve continuing academic success. Pupils study three A-levels plus, in Lower Sixth, either an AS-level or the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). However, we offer so much more. Sixth form life at Adams is exciting, fast-paced and unlike anything you will have experienced so far!

A reputation for high academic results is equalled by a strong house system and a huge variety of enrichment activities. There is a real focus on providing pupils with as many opportunities as possible to try new things. There are over 60 extra-curricular activities. Sixth Form pupils are expected to get involved with all aspects of school life and encouraged to take on positions of responsibility and leadership.

Haberdashers’ Adams is a selective school but one which is inclusive within its remit. The school ensures that all pupils with SEN are identified and appropriately supported to ensure both academic and personal development.

Pupils benefit from close pastoral guidance in tutorial groups and enjoy the independence and flexibility of life in a dedicated Sixth Form Centre. Our active careers programme provides advice and support. Pupils benefit from an active alumni community and valuable links to the City of London provided by The Haberdashers’ Company.

Ofsted inspectors graded the school ‘Good’ in 2022. They reported ‘well-behaved students’, that are ‘mature, articulate young adults’.
