COLLEGE OFFERS STUDENTS STATE-OF-THE-ART FACILITIES AND A CHOICE OF COURSES AND QUALIFICATIONS TO HELP PUT THEM ON THE PATH TO A BRIGHT FUTURE.

Leaving school is an exciting time, a new chapter in your life, but it can be daunting too with so many decisions about what to do next.
At Dudley College of Technology, we can help you explore your options, your potential career progression and help you get ahead in life. There are several different types of qualifications, and it can be difficult to know the right route to take. At Dudley College of Technology we have a dedicated Careers Team on hand to help guide you through the choices including vocational courses, T levels and Apprenticeships.
Full-time vocational courses provide training and qualifications related to specific jobs and sectors, and vocational courses are a viable alternative to studying A levels, enabling students to progress directly to their career choice or go to university. Come and join Dudley College of Technology and explore courses ranging from Animal Studies and Engineering to Creative Industries and Surveying and Design.
T levels are a qualification, equivalent to three A levels, which focus on vocational skills that prepare students for skilled employment, higher studies or Apprenticeships. T levels suit students who want to work towards a skilled occupation, prefer a practical approach to learning and want to get significant industry experience as part of their learning. You will spend 80 per cent of your time in the classroom and 20 per cent of your time on a placement (around 45 days) to equip you with the knowledge and skills companies are looking for.
Dudley College of Technology also offers a diverse range of Apprenticeships including: Automotive, Business, Construction, Early Years, Engineering, Heath & Social Care and Medical Technologies. Apprentices earn a salary while working towards their career goals, developing skills and knowledge whilst in the workplace and studying for a Level 2 or 3 qualification at the same time. An Apprenticeship can also lead to degree-level qualifications. Apprenticeships can be a fast-track career option and often apprentices move up the career ladder quickly.

A spokesperson said: “At Dudley College of Technology, we understand that every student is unique, and our courses reflect that diversity.
